The traction motors manufactured by Gupta Permold, , form the heart of the propulsion system for many mass transit vehicles throughout the world. These motors, rated at over 100HP, must absolutely not waiver even under the most rugged conditions.

Indeed, every step of production must be documented as having passed a rigorous screen of quality controls. At the conclusion of production, each and every motor also must pass stringent performance tests.

After the copper wire is flatwise wound to form sturdy coils, these coils are then assembled to form the stator core. These cores are then in turn 100% tested.

After testing, the stator cores are then fully impregnated and lowered into a durable motor-frame. Testing is performed again to ensure high quality assurance requirements on all motors.

In final processing, various housings and componentry are added to form the final motor. As stated above, 100% final performance testing is performed by our skilled quality assurance team prior to shipping.
