It doesn't stop with being certified.  Gupta Permold uses strict process controls to ensure parts meet the customer's quality requirements. In order to eliminate defects, all manufacturing processes are controlled and continuously monitored as part of our unambiguous Zero-Defect policy.

Monitoring can be as routine as a "hot" inspection (something our molders perform by visually checking each and every casting during freezing times for flaws and imperfections that may be characteristic to a job), where the casting continues down the line if and only if all quality criteria are met. As the casting proceeds through trimming, it is visually inspected at each processing station and a 100% final visual inspection is performed prior to packaging.
For more sensitive jobs, monitoring can get as fancy as radiographic non-destructive testing, commonly known as x-ray inspection. X-ray films are routinely shot of parts to gauge the success of mold designs and molding procedures.

In summary, we believe it is imperative to find defects as early as possible in the manufacturing process and invoke immediate corrective action before parts undergo further processing. It is this approach that makes us feel confident you'll never have to send a part back to us.
Our parts are guaranteed to meet your print and specifications.  We have complete PPAP submission capability (Levels I thru V).  Our ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System means stringent controls on incoming material and thorough documentation.   As an example, Gupta Permold only uses high-quality virgin aluminum ingots and does not as a matter of policy purchase scrap aluminum. Composition of the ingot is always checked to see that specifications are met.
The story does not end there. Gupta Permold routinely performs rigorous final inspection on its more involved products. A detailed "Manufacturing Procedure" Instruction sheet program is in place for complete process documentation and repeatability.
